What is Clubhouse Kids all about?
Clubhouse Kids is a before and after school licensed enrichment program. It offers quality care and a quality enrichment program daily, each morning and afternoon. It also offers programs all day during (if enough enrollment) on scheduled Teacher Workshop Days.
Is it Day Care?
Clubhouse Kids is an enrichment program. Many families do use it for day care, but many use it for the activities and socialization or a bus alternative. It doesn't matter to Clubhouse Kids how you use it. The staff wants to just make sure all children have the opportunity.
Who can use it?
At Central School any Kindergarten through third grade child can use it before and after school. At Great Works School any fourth or fifth grader can use the program before and after school. When open all day (when school is closed), anyone in Kindergarten through fifth grade is welcome.
What if I don't live in South Berwick or Eliot?
Children from all areas can come to Clubhouse Kids during the summer. Some can even get transported from their school to Clubhouse Kids after school.
What are your hours?
Before and After Program hours: 6:30am - 8:25am & 3:05pm - 5:30pm. All day programs 7:00am to 5:30pm.
How much does it cost?
Rates are $9.00 for one child per hour and $16 for two children per hour. See our Hours & Rates Page for details.
What is The Homework Center?
Our Homework Center is supervised by a staff member and available Monday - Thursday after school . Clubhouse Kids offers incentives for children to study and complete their assignments. Read more on Homework Center Page.
What if I only want to use Clubhouse Kids once a week?
That is fine! You are only obligated to pay for the time you have contracted for. You may contract the time to whatever your schedule is. It could be everyday, once a week or once a month. You may also change your contract anytime with two weeks notice.
What if I only want to use Clubhouse Kids once in a while?
No problem! If you registered, simply use Clubhouse Kids as a drop in basis. Just call ahead to make sure that there is space the day you need care, then drop in. If you're registered you may use the program anytime (a special workshop offer, a special field trip or a day we're open all day).
Who works at Clubhouse Kids?
The staff are very qualified individuals. There is a fun and loving variety of people running Clubhouse Kids. All Clubhouse Kids staff are CPR and First Aid Certified.
